I'm a lifetime member of Kids Don't Do Drugs and Be Self Employed Foundation.

I ended up owing IRD $180,000(a lot of fees), student loan $39,000, ACC $5000, etc, total debt $246,000 ish

I played tag with IRD for 7 years, highlights included being rung up by the Serious Fraud Office when I was about $120k in and me freaking out only to find out they were investigating a debt management group that had fraudulently used my detaisl to secure a loan after i

one August I broke up with my partner who I had a child with and one on the way, lost my house, my job, my car, had a drug problem, and massive debt, so naturally i tried to commit suicide.

When that didn't work I filed for bankruptcy, changed my financial habits, and took full responsibility for my situation.

I tell you what, I wouldn't have got through it without the support of my family, friends and the $24,000 dollars I got paid out of a company two weeks before I entered into bankrupcy that I withdrew from my bank in cash.

TLDR: Drugs, issues, idiocy, self employment, 7 years of dodging IRD, relationship failure, $250k kind of fucked, suicide, bankruptcy, sunshine!!!!
