Islamic extremist shot dead in Berlin after stabbing police officer

Yes, of course I have your basic perspective. What I'm seeking is a more in depth explanation on why your thoughts lean that way. I only seek to better understand the situation and see other's perspectives. I'm not being dismissive with your views, I am open to them. Please do me the same respect. This isn't a sides thing, try to be apolitical about it. Don't determine your views on a subject by your political standing. If you automatically dismiss something someone says because "oh, they're clearly far-right", then are you not just as extreme & biased?

Muslims don't have to completely 'take over', that would take a more than a hundred years of unregulated immigration & reproduction. But their mere presence in very large numbers has true observable & long standing effects going into the future. What is it that leads you to believe that it is perfectly hunky-dory and without detrimental consequences for a country to open up it's borders to enormous swaths of people whose culture & way of life is at complete odds with its own peoples'? What makes you feel that this ongoing situation is without concern?

I think being humanitarian and wanting to do good by these refugees & immigrants is a natural feeling to have if you're a privileged individual from a good country. The real world is much more complicated unfortunately and you could be shooting yourself in the foot by lending a hand. Borders exist for a reason. I wish that the world were one big sprawling borderless utopia where we all live & roam in peace. We all wish that, but that's just not reality yet. I think the decisions made by European leaders have been in too much haste and without enough foresight & regulation on how the situation is handled, both now and going into the future.
