Judge Rules That Freedom Of Speech Includes Right To Offend

1st off, all of those laws are pretty common place in one form or another in western nations. Names vary but by function they tend to work the same.

2nd my response was not specific to the UK alone, but extremely generic in nature focused on the 2nd part of the question involving the soap box. I did not in any way shape or form address the issue of harassment laws in the UK as showcased limits of context of the reply by the quote in my 1st post.

As things stand to that and the to the 2nd part of the original query I took it as an opportunity to expanded on the topic over all. Which being said, yes the UK does have those types of laws on the books too be it local level or higher. Example https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/simplification-of-the-criminal-law-public-nuisance-and-outraging-public-decency

in public nuisance, it should be a requirement of the offence that the defendant intended to cause, or was reckless about causing, a nuisance to the public;

Other rules, ordinances and laws exist to limit nuisances such as disruptive behavior... lookup the local council, city etc level items for that.

3rd not entirely sure why you have such a pissy and accusatory tone to your reply but it serves 0 purpose. also, dont make assumptions about background, intent or knowledge of a person on the basis of the tag next to the name.. just makes you sound like a whiny asshole.
