I just turned 25. I'm having a bit of a quarter-life crisis (as pathetic as that sounds). How do you deal with getting older and having missed out on so many things in life?

You come to realize you only knew as much as you did at the time. Can't have remorse if you didn't even have a clear shot at getting the goods.

It blows, but there's always opportunity to catch up. You might've not have had the chance to be youthful with friends and potiental SO's in your 20's, but there's still the chance to be driven in a career of your choice in your 30's, exploring the world in your 40's, and a shitload of other things that come along as we age.

This, coming from a mid-late 20 something, spent 8 years taking care of my parents while struggling in every area of life myself.

Side note: on the off chance that you might identify with the more depressive subreddits, do us a favor and knock that shit off. If you really have the desire to be the man, stay focused on making yourself a man, and more importantly, an adult.
