I was kicked out of a support group for being white...

But if someone came to your door right now and asked are you American what would you say? And you're right you are not mad at Russians bc the Soviet Union is no longer. And your people have since liberated and regained control of their culture and land.

Do you understand that poc and countries that have been colonized by white people, specifically the U.S, the Carribean, all of Central and South America have NO culture? NO language. NO connections. NO religions. NO traditions. No nothing from their Native country. Now surely as a Lituanian-American you could see how that'd be upsetting, degrading, an extinction of self, right?

All of these people were/are African people. They were brought here by white people in the Atlantic slave trade. Do you realize that your example of Lithuania simply does not compare?

Latinos and Hispanics and Native Americans were slaughtered, pushed out, diseased by white people? Mexico was pushed out of the U.S. And white people denied them access into the U.S and used them for labor. Natives were once a people 50 million and after white conquers came here that number lowered to 10 million.

Irish people were treated badly as well, but their skin color eventually allowed them to assimilate. These things matter.

Now before you say it, this is not the past. These people, ripped from their countries, origins, religions, heritage, tounge STILL live here. How can we discount them and argue they should assimilate?

Should Lithuanians in the U.S be stripped of their culture, tongue, traditions, and values? Should they then be enforced into 400 years of slavery, 100 years of inequality (no jobs, gov assistance etc), and then be told we all need to get along and they are not allowed to have a support group alone?
