LAPD officers will begin wearing body cameras next Monday

I'm not even American and I still know this.

I was stopped because I was out after curfew on holliday (no clue what it even was before hand) We were approached by atleast 4 , possibly more. from all sides, they had drawn weapons and flashlights in my face, yelling aggressively, can't remember all the words but I remember "fuck" "fucking" etc, they were incredibly aggressive to a point that I got so scared I almost blacked out, afterwards I was shaking like a leaf and my friend teared up..

we were 15 years old.

Even cops in my country are shit, I 'matched a profile' they stoped me and my buddy walking on the sidewalk with our skateboards, the cops drove up on the sidewalk and behind us they flashed the red lights and the bright beam of light they control from inside, and on the loudspeaker "get against the wall" Ran out with clubs raised, didn't identify themselfs, took our skateboards and bags, searched them, then proceeded to ask aggressively why we were out this late at night doing crime and drugs, why we were such dissapointments to our parents, then they radioed in that they were gonna take us in for the night until they can prove it was us that did something we were never even told what. Then when they figured out we were 16 by stealing our ID they told us they were gonna call our parents and have them wake up and drive down to the station to pick us up, we were about 100 meters from my house at that point, and we let them know that.

Never trust a cop, but if you are in trouble they might still be your best shot, just beware, not all cops are assholes but a lof of assholes are cops. why? you get paid to harass people and carry a gun, and you get a uniform, and you may even get harm other people, which is appealing to what type of person do you think? a lot of people who want to do good, yes, but also a lot of psychopats, denying that is just naive..
