The Latest: Prosecutor: Officer planted gun after shooting

It's worse than that. I used to make my own meth. I had a rule where I never broke more than one law at a time and I never rode in a car with two or more ingredients, because that is enough for a manufacturing charge.

I was riding passenger in the car and my friend gets pulled over. To my knowledge, the only thing in the car is a box of pseudoephedrine, which was mine. The officer interviews everyone separately and the owner of the car gives permission to search.

From there, they found more boxes of pseudoephedrine as well as some lithium batteries, both of which I knew nothing about or I never would have ridden in the car.

Anyway, I invoke my right to an attorney and get booked into jail, along with everyone else, for manufacturing a controlled substance in the 2nd degree.

Months down the road, I was able to bail out and my lawyer contacted me and e-mailed me the discovery which showed the police report. On the police report, it said I had confessed and admitted that we were all going to go cook meth together.

That isn't exactly true, I was going to go back to my own place and do it myself but I guess the other people in the car (who were also meth heads) were going to do the same thing.

In the end, I was guilty enough to where I didn't really feel bad but the principle still bothers me, they shouldn't be able to do that. I still get worried about getting pulled over, even though I've been clean almost 2 years. I just don't trust the police at all.
