Thanks, nice to hear that not everyone in Europe lumps all us Americans together. :). I don't think most people in Europe fully realize how distinct all the various regions on America actually are. There's a huge section of America (basically, all the good states like New York, California, etc.) that hates Trump and is fighting back. It's mostly the backwards states like Alabama and Georgia that really ever supported Trump. And his support is now the lowest of ANY president since they began polling like 50 years ago!

I have considered Europeans (Western Europe especially) to be America's true allies and friends. Like if anyone were to attack, say, Germany, France, Spain, England etc.... America would have their back so fast it would make your head spin. It's sort of like if someone attacks your little brother. You might have made fun of your little bro, but NO ONE fucks with them.

We (Western democracies) are being intentionally divided by people like Putin, in my opinion. He wants chaos in our societies to make his dictatorship ("presidency") more legitimate, and also just to "knock us down a peg." The great democracies of the world need to band together and stop letting ourselves be manipulated, America especially. We should all be working together, cause we're waaaay more similar than we're different. Even if we happen to have elected a clown like Trump.
