Lillith and the wedding dress drama

Just a useless(?) story, barely about wedding dresses, more about an idiot:

Im a 40yo guy. Ive been to exactly one wedding in my life. Great party, great food. My parents wedding photo has been out on prominent display in their house my entire life. And Ive actually looked at it a lot because my parents dont look at all like they do in that photo anymore. And its always freaked me out a bit.

I also have an aunt who keeps one of her wedding photos out on display. That photo is of the only real thing I clearly remember out of all these photos and 1 wedding. And it is not my aunt's dress.

In fact I dont remember any of those 3 wedding dresses. I could not describe them beyond "white" to save my life. AND Im not even sure "white" is the right answer to the dress from the 1 wedding.

Nope. outta all this wedding stuff the one thing I will always remember clearly is my cousin. All of 5-6yo, (45ish now) in his cute little kid's suit, holding my aunt's hand in her wedding photo.

And the only reason I will always remember that picture is because sometime in my late 20s, while I was sitting around getting high to kill a hangover on a lazy Sunday morning, I realized that my 5-6yo tiny suited cousin was IN the wedding photo. So that meant that cousin was born before the wedding. A bastard even. (Im not judging, I just like saying bastard)

So I asked my other cousin, who was hungover with me, if uncle M was cousin TinySuit's father. He told me "nope, no one ever told you?"

So. Ya. My mom's only wedding dress? No clue. My aunt's only wedding dress? No clue. Cousin R's only wedding dress (from the 1 wedding)? It may have been not-white...?

My own stupidity at realizing what Id been staring at my entire life? Locked down, on repeat.
