I’m currently 29 and experiencing quite a lot of anxiety about turning 30.

30s have been a different kind of shitty. In your 20s, everyone seems to be going after their career and hooking up, stumbling into a relationship.

It seems like guys in their 30s are changing careers, out of their first long serious relationship, trying to hit the gym and have one last party phase, or some mix of all.

Of course, there is a lot of selection bias involved. Men with a good 'everything' aren't looking for dates, friends, whatever.

The consolation is that it's not like dudes in their 40s are trouble free. It's just different. Date a guy in his 40s with kids leaving the house and it's a whole different dynamic.

I recommend to just get a puppy and house plants. They don't care what your career is.
