‘I’m Totally Freaked Out’: Brazilians Weigh a Farewell to Paradise. Shaken by violence, thousands of TV stars, bankers, lawyers and wealthy Brazilians are fleeing the country

I am not really an expert there on this. I tend to like poorer people and have no issues sleeping on the ground. Did look for places to live once. It was hooking up the utilities process that scared me away from anything permanent. I was also trying to educate myself on why things were so bad everywhere. You can be seen as a nice person or a bad person and the crowd goes nuts, or worse, bosses see you as a threat and it costs like $5 to get knifed. That being said, in the cities where they keep up appearances, the living is awesome. For about $800 or so a month you can live in a big place with internet. As long as you stay there life is very nice. My income is about $40k for life. I did find lots of cheaper places in the USA to stay. It depends on what your needs are. I like Vegas, for there I would live in Laughlin, NV and take one of the hourly buses for shows or medical to Vegas. I don't gamble or drink, love food and shows. You can buy a decent mobile in a well run park for cheap. Thailand requires $25k in a Thai bank, before you leave the USA to work the VISA timing. Thailand is about $8 a day including a studio rental. You cannot buy property in any real way. I love that food and the beach. Ok, you probably need this: https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowForum-g304553-i7389-Mysuru_Mysore_Mysore_District_Karnataka.html or here http://www.expatexchange.com/india/expat-resources-india and google for more "expats india". I know it is bad in most places, however Mexico has several awesome places with all english speaking groups. Super cheap there and the food is off the charts. Medical is bad though so you would need to fly to it. Nice talking to you. Please feel free to PM me instead of in the thead
