[MAIN SPOILERS] Can we take some time to appreciate how fantastic it was finally seeing both of these castles?

You mean how outrageously disappointing the depictions were? Casterly Rock isn't even on an elevated rock. It's the same damn height as everything around it. And it's supposed to be next to Lannisport. This castle they're calling Casterly Rock is where? The middle of nowhere?

Highgarden was also poor but easier to excuse since the shot was pretty far away. Still though there's SUPPOSED TO BE FARMS. THESE CASTLES AREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. Only Winterfell is like that.

Honestly the writing in this episode was mostly very good. But my god they fucking botched these two. I would have preferred they didn't even show Casterly Rock and instead they receive word from Grey Worm that the castle wasn't fully defended and THEN they cut to the Lannister army approaching Highgarden. Showing this Casterly Rock just leaves a bad taste.

I don't get it. These shots aren't even animated. Why couldn't they just spend more time with the detail? I'm sure we could have done with ONE less shot of the goddamn dragons...
