Sure, Erens plan worked. They got a huge win from it. But thats thinking with tunnel vision. The issue is more complicated than that. How can they, or why should they trust someone who so recklessly put their lives in danger and didnt fill them in on the plan.

And please dont compare this to Erwin, who was the emphatic leader of operations. They devoted their lives to him. They were already ready to listen to his every word. That same deal was not allocated to Eren.
