March 3 2016 Republican Debate - Fox News Debate Megathread

Here is why I am no longer a Trump supporter :

Today, on stage, he blatantly told us that he has changed his position on the H1B visa program. He said the words, "I'm changing, I'm changing, We need highly skilled people in this country, and if we can't do it, we'll get them in." Now, this is the SAME exact excuse I've been hearing from H1B abusers for years. Trump is now saying the same thing they do. Bring in foreign workers because Americans aren't enough. This has led to widespread corruption and abuse, and millions of Americans are losing their jobs and living with lower salaries because of the H1B visa program. Now Trump clearly said, "I'm changing, and I'm softening my stance" when asked about what was written on Trump's website. But then after the debate.... Trump goes on social media and feeds me the nationalist stuff again "H1B is bad, I'll stop it!".... which is it then, Trump? He is saying TWO different things. He's all over the place with his answers. He is lying. If a Man can't keep his own damn words straight, that Man is a liar.

I already had my suspicions he was lying to me, as a voter. There is an interview on Howard Stern, from 2013, that can be found on YouTube. In there, he talks about same sex marriage. He feeds me the conservative line, that he (Trump) is for traditional male-female marriage. But then he goes on to say, that times are changing, and then he says "I'm not saying I wouldn't change my mind, at all".... and then he says this issue is not high on his list. In one interview, he manages to feed me the conservative line, and then at the same time, leaving the possibility open to betray me once he is elected. A man who cares about an issue, would say he would never change his mind on this.

Then there is the off the record tape, that Trump apparently said his stance on immigration is negotiable. I have read his book, the Art of the Deal. I know what he's doing. He's starting off with the most outrageous demand he can think of, and then he will negotiate down to a more reasonable position. I no longer believe he is serious about building the Wall, or even enforcing immigration.

And then there's the David Duke issue. Trump disavowed Duke in the year 2000, and rightfully called him a racist and a bigot, and refused to run for President in the Reform party. Then, on the day of Christie's endorsement, Trump was asked about Duke's endorsement, and Trump disavowed him on the spot. He knew exactly who Duke was. But then the next day.... Trump acts stupid and says he has to research Duke and the KKK? What kind of Man doesn't disavow them on the spot? Trump's excuse is he had a bad ear piece. I wanted to believe him last week. I don't believe him anymore. The ear piece excuse is a blatant lie. He heard Jake Tapper's question. He knew who David Duke was. He wouldn't disavow, because he wanted the racist vote. And he's spun a web of lies to cover it up.

Now, I am disillusioned about this. I wanted a Nationalist Conservative who will fix our trade deals, fix our immigration, and stop the globalists from abusing the People. The entire country wants that. We are waiting for a candidate to run on that platform. Trump ran on it, and now he's backtracking and spinning lies to me.

I don't know who I will vote for now. I was an Independent voter but I changed my registration to vote Republican in the primaries. I voted for Romney and McCain. I didn't like either of them as candidates, but anyone was better than Obama, who was unqualified to be President.

Thank you for reading.
