Men, what's the best love poem that you've read?

Kinda long, a friend of mine wrote it.

Definition of Love.

Love, what is it? Love is patient, and kind. It does not envy, boast, or delight in evil. Love is not proud, or rude. It is neither self-seeking nor easily angered. Love keeps no record of wrongs. It always protects, hopes, and trusts. Love never fails.

Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame very fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older our hearts mature and love becomes as coals, deep burning and unquenchable. Love is protecting, caring, supporting, providing, and generally taking care of the people that you do love. Love puts a twinkle in your eye, every time you see that special someone. When you’re with them you feel as if nothing is impossible and you’re indestructible, untouchable. Love is never leaving ones side no matter what happens, or what is said or done. It’s never giving up on each other. It’s worrying you’ll mess up. Love isn't just about the physical connection, but rather the emotional connection. Love itself doesn't have a direct meaning, for the reason it is so special.

But still, love isn't practical. It isn't meant to be easy. It doesn't appear on command. Love doesn't let you fall for whomever you'd like, it surfaces at neither the most opportune moment nor in the most convenient. It'll pair you with someone you might have never expected. Love will put you face to face with endless obstacles, but in the end, none of that will matter because it's how you overcome those obstacles that will define your love. It may not be practical, but love is ultimately the best thing that will ever happen to you.

Love isn't perfect. It isn't a fairytale or a storybook and it doesn't always come easy. Love not only over comes obstacles, but it faces challenges, fighting to be together, holding on and never letting go. It is a short word, easy to spell, difficult to define, and yet so impossible to live without. Love is work, but most of all, love is realizing that every hour, every minute, every second of it is worth it because your doing it together.
