i noticed similar things, i'm a PC and XBOX ONE gamer and use my X1 as my daily grinder (i have a ps4 which i enjoy but xbox has my heart : P)so that my bias laid bare.

yep i noticed that microsoft just can't do enough to please the PC crowd everything they do is never enough while microsoft's is really really trying to do all the things that PC players have been begging for and how they say PC players are always ignored ect. yet when on company after like 15 years of mostly half assing PC starts to try they are less than excited

while PS4 gets a pass on most things, they are at the moment way ahead meaning they have become least consumer friendly big gaming company out of the big 3 while xbox as they are way behind have to fight with things like backward compat(ps4 make you pay for that by streaming instead where they could have done the same and gave it away for free but they didnt) and free old xboxs games with the new (just cause 3 got you just cause 1+2) pushing for mods, halo at 60fps. where ps4 love complete exclusives(not appearing on PC) where as xbox has stated they want most games from now on to get a pc release if that's not better for the consumer i don't know what is

i think a few years ago they realised what pc had to offer and what xbox had to offer and it melding the two. while ps4 is gunning way ahead which can lead to stagnation (they aren't but could in the very near future) which is why the bi monthly "free" games are better than ps4 and why xbox wants cross console play and ps4 seemingly does not.

this is my opinion which is might be different to anyone who might be reading this so don't downvote, tell me why i'm wrong(which i probably am.....i just want to know : P)
