This is so misinformed that I’m actually upset, mostly by the fact that it has 300k likes.

So I'm pretty in the middle open to both regulation arguments and why not to . But do you people here view regulations as a slippery slope because you believe once say idk example full automatic weapons ban to you think that will eventually lead to a full weapons ban ? Because we've had automatic weapons banned so why is it the thought of banning bump stocks limiting magazines and banned assault rifles too far ? Like I don't quite understand really trying here can someone enlighten me ? Or if you have any historic evidence too of a democratic nation slowly taking away all guns and I mean all not still allowing hunting rifles and handguns and a few other guns. Like does someone have a good principled argument and if possible historic examples ? Pretty please lol I feel like this community would be the most informed
