I miss the passion-driven development of the first game.

While we all want the game to succeed (maybe not with the current monetization model..), I really do think it's important to not apologize on Blizzard's behalf here.

They made a choice to stop the good thing they had going and turn to Overwatch 2 development, and what we've been delivered is not only scarily high amounts of feature regression, but a lack of forethought and personality.

It feels like, at least to me, that at some point some folks in suits saw Fortnite's success and told the development team to "Go do that".

I want to play a game that's made by people who give a shit about it and the players.

But more and more these days, that feels impossible.

I'm incredibly sad to see such a phenomenal IP in Overwatch cheapened by these ethically reprehensible monetization practices/prices, and even sadder to see the lack of fucks given throughout.
