'Mormons for Hillary' video released by Clinton campaign

As someone who has spent a lot of time in the LDS church, even if Clinton makes gains among Mormons during this election, I don't see it as being permanent. Mormons are still extremely conservative. Younger Mormons have loosened their views about gay marriage, but gay members of the church are still discriminated against. Mormons, as a whole, will not switch over to a party that is pro-abortion anytime soon. I could see younger Mormons voting for Hillary - some of them - but I could never picture older, more traditional Mormons doing the same unless they are told to by the LDS president, which will not happen. My guess is that a lot of Mormons are disgusted by Trump because Mormons tend to be very devout and they take their religious principles far more seriously than most Christians. But I still cannot see Clinton winning over the LDS church.

Mormons tend to be uniform about a lot of things, but the church will not tell its entire congregation who to vote for.

But I was never a Utah Mormon, so I could be wrong about what the atmosphere is like in Utah.
