Bro definitely not. You are getting a somewhat incomplete picture of the application here. He has a II from almost every Texas school (5 not 10) he applied too, pending SA and Houston, which I’m sure will come. And which 25 oos schools? The top 25...

We have heard many times on this sub from other similar applicants - particularly those with high stats applying to competitive schools - that many of their first OOS interviews came in mid October. Rejected from Pitt and UCSF? So were many qualified applicants... I’m in a similar position. My GPA isnt stellar but my MCAT is as good as it could possibly be and I’m a few years out from undergrad (~3.5, 528). I also know there aren’t any red flags in my application. Yet, as a Texas applicant I’ve only received 2 IIs (UTSA and Pitt) and 1 R (CWRU). I only applied to 4 Texas schools and Dell didn’t even send me a secondary. Honestly, maybe I’m making this comment as a way to defend my own continued expectations for this cycle, but I think part of the confusion here is the incomplete picture of the application. I could be wrong. We will see in a few weeks.
