My ex [26M] is better than me in a LOT of ways and I [24M] cant help but feel inferior. What do i do?

Yea I feel the same sometimes. I always see my friends posting pictures of how they have parties. Meanwhile I'm sitting in bed watching netflix lol. Then on other days I try to copy those activities and it's fun but it just feels like a total waste of time. But watching things on netflix does also feel like a waste of time so yeah..

But if you think about it, it doesn't matter what you do, as long as it's legal, the only thing that is important if it's fun. If travelling is fun to you than you should do it. If watching Netflix is fun to you, you should do it. Just never do things that you do because you have the feel of "needing to do them"

Besides that and the problem with your ex. I have a same problem. I had a girlfriend when I was 14 or 15 who was 5'9. I was 5'8 when I was 14. For some reason I didn't grow anymore and I'm now, at the age of 19, still 5'8. I can't tell you how much it bothers me that my ex from middle school is still taller than me lol. It obviously is not the same, since I was younger and all but I think I kinda get your problem. What helped me was a new girlfriend. So I came to the conclusion that the reason for me to worry about this was because I still had feelings for the other girl. That being said, I think your problem will resolve itself as soon as you lose your interest in him.
