That's just cause people treat an AA meeting at a dive bar as a 10-year celebration of sobriety.

There's nothing wrong per se in seeking help from likeminded people, but for any kind of issue, it only damages you further to obfuscate the truth of what is really going on, which unfortunately is common in this type of sub

People try to attach all sorts of demons to their addiction, or to speak about society having broader issues, when the rest of society doesn't have trouble living life.

It's not relevant. What matters is YOUR LIFE, and how YOU will change YOUR LIFE. Are you here to pretend you know something, or are you here because you realize you have a problem and want to get better?
