I'm sorry that happened to you. A very, very similar thing happened to me and my siblings when we were young. The older son of the bishop tended us after school.

He abused us, he video taped it and everything. His dad (the bishop) somehow became aware and "handled it" with my parents. I don't think the full story ever came out. Nothing was ever reported to the police of course.

The worst part is that he went on to abuse other kids and eventually got caught. I feel so bad for his other victims. It could have been avoided for the other victims if it hadn't been covered up by the bishop.

Anyway, I understand on some level what you've been through and I hope you've been able to heal.
