Not trying to invoke a war here, but….is really open anti-indigenous sentiment mainstream in Canada amongst older people?

Not just older. Look into it it's really horrible.

We are talking systemic racism in the police, the medical space and the government and citizens being outwardly violent.

During a school assignment who's source I no longer have and was also pay walled so believe it or don't that's up to you. I read that one doctor who's patient was a first nations women who was having text book appendicitis didn't plan to help her because he thought she wasn't being genuine and was an addict looking for pain killers (atleast if I remember right). The women get up and walked out of the hospital to I hope find another though the doctor who reported claimed they don't know what happened.

First nations people are also pre judged. If a kid shows up with an injury it's common for a doctor to assume the parent caused it if the parents are first nations.

Another article talked about first nation sex workers and how most started under aged. One girl talked about how a guy tried to hit her with his car.

I regret not having the articles because it was shockingly hard to find information on.

Here is an article not the articles I was talking about before. https://hir.harvard.edu/indigenous-healthcare-in-canada/

Another big issue is alot of Canadians don't know how bad the problem is because you don't really hear it getting reported on. First nations women especially get murdered at a might higher rate and their cases more often remain unsolved.

Alot of people will be upset I don't have those original articles I'm sorry I would have to dig through school work and I might not even still have it. Do your own research take the time because when I really started looking into it I found stories that left mevin physical shock because they were so much more extreme than I had prepared for.

It is a massive issue and seems like it gets more intense the farther north in the country you go but that story of the guy trying to hit a girl with her car that was Toronto so it's bad in southern Canada too.
