I’m with you on this one. I hate how “heartwarming” everyone thinks this kinda shit is. This man is a wage slave living an awful boring life and hasn’t seen his children in 16 years? This isn’t heartwarming to me, it’s a sad pathetic tale of our greedy capatalist society forcing this man into having a shitty life so he can provide for a family he doesn’t even get to see.

I hate when people try to talk about how “heroic” and amazing people who work insane amounts of hours to provide for their families are. It just seems like normalizing something that we should be railing against. Like this guy deserves a normal life where he can spend some time with his family everyday. Instead hes a wage slave? That shit sucks. Lets not praise that. Seems weird to praise something I think shouldnt exist.
