It's official: Days Inn to become 85 permanent housing units for chronically homeless

Well, I am super glad I dumped my house off on some idiot. This is a lifelong townie telling you all. Abandon ship. Shoving homeless people in a shitty days inn that is already literally so strewn with needles and garbage that you can't walk your dog in the area will not make things better. There is no opportunity. The schools fucking suck, [speaking as a graduate, and as someone who has seen our rankings]. Asheville is a segregated shit hole where assholes pretend they are living in a liberal paradise, while the people who provide them with weed to smoke and drugs to do are imprisoned with mandatory minimum laws worse than most other in the country. Move far far away. If you are in love with WNC, buy some property in Wolf Laurel, or Barnardsville. Asheville is fucked.
