On my way to rehab

If you're not abusing benzos (so prescription) but want to quit and can quit yourself, go for it. That's absolutely amazing if you can handle the taper. It seems like you're able to manage it and that's great!

If you can't quit yourself, then generally you need some help.

Detox and rehabs have amazing resources. Specifically the medical ones. Where they can work with you on a taper plan or get replacement meds to help with the symptoms.

If you're not having troubles with it, of course you don't need to go. My comment was referring to people who are having difficulties. Which is probably mostly people who aren't scripted benzos but it can still be very difficult for those prescribed benzos. Benzos are crazy powerful. Even when you've quit, rehab can be helpful to ensure you have the skills to not fall back into it.

If you know you don't need detox or rehab, good for you, it's not for everyone. If you're not sure though, there are so many options. Outpatient, inpatient. Just having the support can have some benefits
