Valium rapid taper - really struggling - 13 days out - weighing whether to reinstate

I am not a doctor, but I am in the recovery process using the Ashton Manual. This stint has been 10 years of benzos and ssri's.

This is not my first attempt at recovery, but the first time using the Ashton Manual. Last week I was on on the equivalent of about 200mg valium per day (I decided to follow the method of switching everything to night time, as mentioned in the manual)

3 months of up to 10mg of valium is not a lot, but you have to remember what it says in the manual, that everyone is a different case.

Many of the effects you describe are also in the Ashton Manual, some of those feelings are often experienced by people, especially those that have been using large doses for a long time. Equally, people on smaller doses and shorter times also get those feelings, though those feeling do subside.

However, even large dosages over long periods of time don't always bring on those feelings. Benzos are funny like that.

Everything I read that you are doing is the right things to do, the exercise, the psych, the support from your wife,
