OP asks if he is the AH for wanting to help his 'golden child' sister at the expense of his other sister.

AITA is always so fucking dramatic dude. They always act like one person is a saint, and the other is literally the devil. These are three young people recovering from years of abuse at the hands of their parents. Tia was (in my opinion) being a little dramatic for being mad at her brother for DARING to help out their sibling, but i dont blame her for being an emotionally damaged teenager.

Maya probably went through a lot. After her two siblings left and her parents turned her into the scapegoat, she had nobody to turn to. What she did was terrible, but she was a young teen being manipulated by abusive parents. That doesn't excuse anything said or negate it, but it definitely explains it.

People are three dimensional man. This 24 year old kid got ragged on for doing the morally correct and noble thing. All in all it sounds just like a general tragedy and catastrophic failure on the parents part. Hope they enjoy nursing homes!
