Do people judge people for how much they earn?

Yeah, that’s a load of bollocks tbh. I’m an apprentice, a degree apprentice granted but a degree apprentice. I spend 4 days a week working and then one day a week doing mechanical engineering. I’m currently making double the average for my age group, and in 3 years or so when I move to a proper role my salary will triple. People will tell you that university is be all and end all but I think that’s just them trying to justify their debt. It’s not really an achievement anymore as anyone gets in if they want to, I got offers from all the unis I applied to and I only applied because my college told me I had to as a backup if I didn’t get an apprenticeship. But people still seem to think, degree = set for life when that’s really not the case anymore.
