People should take male mental health more seriously

I understand what you mean and I know these feelings are painful and dreadful, but I suggest not seeing it as a women vs men thing. I know what you mean, but truthfully everyone and their mental health should be taken seriously! I wish they were... While it seems men may have it better and women are more hurt; men get treated bad in their own ways in this. For instance, a male who I close with was r*ped. The system pretty much mocked him, no joke. Heck his own mother acted like it was not serious... As did many. Almost as if it was unbelievable. It was so sad. Talking to him I felt his pain deep. I too have been hurt and it sucks! Even as a female, yes we do t get treated the best and things aren't recognized enough and we deal with many issues... But I am not often told to "woman up" and I'm not treated as terribly for being emotional (although actually sometimes, especially with the stigma around periods and stuff ugh .) All I am trying to say is don't see one gender as worse or anything as a cause. Everyone is an individual and the problem lies not in specific people, but it the flawed system and way we deal with it and how stereotypes and things evolve. Idk why I wrote all this out really, I don't want anyone to think I'm annoying and I'm not trying to force opinion. Just please know pain is pain and it can apply to anyone.
