People of the world, what are you mad about today?

Racism is internalised in many people. Personally I've seen a lot of it from Americans, where people I know who have lived in America have told me things as radical as having a black neighbour brings down the value of their home. This is of course disgusting. In most of Europe however racism is "not" an issue in the same way. In a lot of Europe people hate gypsies or travellers, who are mostly white. In a lot of Europe people hate Africans who try and sell bootleg or cheap products and harass them at restaurants. These issues need to be addressed in two ways - cracking down on why people dislike these people, as well as cracking down on the hatred towards these people. I'm not trying to argue about whether racism is a systematic issue or not, or whether it needs to be looked at more closely as it has been, obviously both are true - just trying to help non-Europeans understand a European perspective on the matter. I also understand that I derailed quite a bit from your reply, but I'm just typing as thoughts come to my head. Cheers!
