THE POST GAME THREAD: Boston Celtics 79, Cleveland Cavaliers 87

I've learned Tatum is absolutely fantastic, reasonably consistent, efficient and un-tradeable in my mind. A star right now, and possibly a superstar in the making.

I've learned Brown makes questionable decisions, has no mid-range, but can go off in a game. He also rocks the rim. He's a worth shopping around this summer for a trade though.

I've learned Rozier is fantastic with the right matchups. He was great against Bledsoe and we wouldn't have won the Bucks series without him. Cavs just had bigger players, and he was working harder on D. He in no way can approximate Kyrie. This series has shown that. Tradeable.

Marcus Smart is untradeable, pay him. he should be the defacto backup to Irving and a 6th man off the bench. He's just that important to the Celtics identity. He's also a better playmaker than Rozier and that's most important to me.

Al Horford. Worth every penny these playoffs. Wouldn't have gotten this far without him. Disappeared in some crucial moments down the stretch. I would trade him if we have to clear up the balance sheet to fit in another super star. But if we stay put next year, I think we'd be scary with Horford at the 5 and Tatum at the 4.

Marcus Morris. Smell ya later dude.

Baynes. Smell ya later.

Off season targets? I would consider keeping the main core, but trying to upgrade the back court. Horford and Tatum are a stellar front court. But Celtics struggled on offense, even with Kyrie on deck. Brown and Smart can be very flat in a game. I would look are shoring up scoring in that department.

I know Derozan might be on deck, but that requires trading Horford or Hayward to clear up the balance sheets. Same with Lillard. Thompson could be entering free agency, which definitely worth a look, but again it would require shipping out Horford or Hayward. I would seriously consider that for Thompson though.

So who knows. I say keep Irving, Tatum and Smart, period. Horford should be a last resort to clear up money issues. Hayward may never be 100%, and could be a good bet to clear up money roadblocks as well as bundle in assets to get a better player.
