I agree with you in premise, but the reality is that arguing that the system is unfair to the people that created it and expecting them to change it is just as naive of an idea. Both sides end their donors benefit from the tax code. I submit "tax the rich", while being a great slogan, is a pipe dream. Our best option is to beat them at their own game.

Once again I understand the idea of civic responsibility. However, when the people making the decisions squander our money on frivolous things because they have an endless supply, it is incumbent on us to cut them off.

Defense is necessary but the military industrial complex is notorious for developing false pretense for war to drain the coffers. And I co believe that the world could be a better place where we use our words instead of dropping bombs on people we disagree with.
