Almost every hospital in the U.S. is non-profit. Yes, they do try to make money, and many people who work for and run them make money, but it’s mostly on a sustainment basis and it’s nothing compared to the other two mentioned.

Ever wonder why hospitals/healthcare is so expensive? The drugs, equipment, and supplies they use on you are marked up by the other two. Take a look at an itemized statement next time if you don’t believe me. Or take a look at the doctors’ and executives’ salaries who run the hospital vs. their counterparts at big pharma. It’s not even close.
