Season 7 Episode 22: Bon Voyage

I was just thinking about this episode and how Rory is going off to be on the would-be President's bus. So hopeful and exciting.

Then AYITL comes out and sort of ruins that hope. I can't watch this one without remembering what's to come now.

I wish the follow up of AYITL had been more true to Rory being hard working and successful. Maybe had her choose to come home with a nice nest egg that she both inherited and built with her career. She comes back because she was just missing the small town life that she so loved and felt safe in, and then maybe the struggle could be for what to do once there to keep busy/feed her passion.

Her completely lost adulthood after such a focused and successful adolescence just doesn't ring true to me.
