Separate child support / alimony payments?

Yes, I think you win on the loony. I cannot imagine how she would get 80% of your retirement account, just does not sound right unless there was something else of equal value you kept.

I can't imagine why one would need a $34,000 SUV at all. I drive compact cars ($15,000 to $18,000 new cost) and drive them for 15 yrs or more until they fall apart.

Did the judge not impute earnings to her even when she had children at home? Mine did. Everything else marital asset wise was 50/50.

Where I can compete with the crazy is that my ex already had the new wife lined up and was remarried within a month of getting rid of me. She left him after a year and he remarried again within another year. Seems like he can't be alone.

During the divorce I had my daughter say things to me like "you have changed". Where do you think that would have come from (14 yrs old), I don't think one that age would be able to measure change in a parent over that time period. Sounds like something he would say.

Another time she came out of his room (still were sharing the house) and said to me "we were laughing at you". Yes that was great. Yet he accused me of alienation.

So glad that is years past now.
