[Serious] What are some sentences that changed your life?

"Allow yourself to be wrong."

A way to keep yourself humble to new knowledge without getting rooted in rigid thinking.

"Those who say they are, aren't. Those who say they aren't, are."

People that feel the need to boast that they're the best at something, are often far from being the best at it.

The people who are the best never go around bragging and often downplay their skill, or intelligence because they're humble to new knowledge.

They're also willing to reformulate their perceptions based on new information, and their desire for knowledge or skill isn't based on external perception, but internal self-fulfillment.

"You have to not want what you want in order to get what you want."

This is a very strange one and it seems counterintuitive when you read it, but basically the more you want something the more stress you put on yourself.

This added stress makes it even more difficult for you to perform at your highest level and takes you out of the moment sending you into an emotional state of worry and anxiety makeing it much more challenging to get what you want.

This isn't to say that you shouldn't try as hard as you can to achieve what you want.

Instead, this is about how your mentality can reduce your stress level if you just let go of what you're so strongly yearning for.

Learning to let go, having patience, putting in consistent work, and having an openness to new knowledge will get you there much faster.

Plus, you'll actually have some fun achieving your goal in the process.

"Your mentality creates your reality."

Being able to put yourself into a positive mental attitude without external influence is one of the most powerful tools that you can forge for yourself.

Everything in the world just simply is. There is no positive, there is no negative, it's us that creates this perception of positivity or negativity. This ultimately means the choice is yours to decide how happy you are.

"If you look for the light, you will find it, but if you look for the darkness, that is all you will ever see."
