Do you think maybe you have subconscious expectations for a 3rd date hookup?

I think I'm similar to this woman in that it takes me a while to progress to the physical level. I mean, before these two dates, y'all were literal strangers.

My personal reason for going slow is that a physical connection IS very important to me, I find that I let myself get too caught up in the physical when the overall relationship isn't a good fit in other aspects of compatibility. For me, going fast up front usually ends up in my time being wasted by guys who stick around because it's better than NOT getting any action. (Maybe that's a twisted perception of what's going on in these guy's heads, but alas...)
