Sometimes matchmaking requires balls of steel [TRIGGER WARNING / NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART]

So far we have:

Whole site is clear, one CT is up the balcony behind the smoke which is an old smoke and is about to dissipate.

I have no info that my teammate has any more smokes and since this is matchmaking, communication is literally 0 other than "go plant B". I run up to the site with very low health and the info that somebody is up balcony. I start planting and the CT can hear me so he can potentially spray through the smoke, the only protection I have is the wood and the measly 18 HP I have.

Then I realize my dumbass teammate literally just threw a molotov under my feet. I know I have to plant because if I don't then I have to wait an extra 4-5 seconds (or however long a molotov lasts) while trying to duck away and survive from a possible spray from balcony and an aggressive push from already-rotating CTs who already know the bomb is DEFINITELY on B site. Did I already mention I had 18 hp?

I know the plant will go down, I don't think I can be much help with 18 (or less) HP and I consider myself an already-dead man if I don't stick to the plant. I trust my teammates can survive the afterplant in a 2v2 situation in the worst case scenario (aka me dying after the plant because of the teammate with the molotov).

There was literally no reason from that guy to even throw the molotov onto the site and he's lucky he had a smoke to stop me from dying, but that plant had to go down in such a situation.

You might be a much better player than I am and I commend you for that, but try not to overthink and overcriticize something, as most of your comment is based on assumptions that I simply did not have during the play. Plus I knew I could survive long enough for the plant so it wasn't just a pointless suicide rush.
