Sondland: ‘Was there a quid pro quo? The answer is yes’

That popular rising that stoked by EU NGOs to overthrow a democratically elected president because he was pro Russian. Yea not sure how much I believe of that. That's like asking if Putin is corrupt and Russian state media saying no.

They don't hire because of name recognition. I can't just change my name to Gates and get a position on Microsoft's board. They hire people who have connections because they think they can use those connections and with respect to politicians influence policy. It's corrupt but it happens all the time so we have just come to accept it.

No other witness has said Trump didn't care about the investigations and just wanted an announcement that they have happened.

He didn't say he wanted a favor done with respect to Biden. Go back and read the transcript. He said he wanted a favor and that he should contact Barr with respect to the 2016 election (which is a perfectly valid thing to ask for, it has no relevance to the 2020 election or his opponents), then the Ukraine President brought up corruption and Trump remarked about the Biden company and that it looked dodgy as hell which it does.
