Steam Bans 45,000 Accounts Day After Summer Sale

My bad on not noticing that you're the same guy, but I got the responses mixed up since both of you responded around the same time.

Regardless, as I've previously stated, I'm not disagreeing with your position. Yes, it is stupid to use cheats on a Vac secured server. Yes, there isn't really any good alternative, other than making another account and testing it on there, which you've since provided in an additional comment.

I'm going to make this as simple as possible, since it seems you're not grasping this (or you are, and are totally just trolling me).

  1. OP wanted to stop people from hacking on his server.

  2. You originally provided an alternative that wouldn't have done anything in regards to his original problem. Actually it probably would've made it worse. You've since provided a better one.

  3. his VAC ban is a symptom of the original problem, the hackers.

  4. This is the part I have an issue with: "If the guy I replied to wanted to cheat on his own server then he should have made it a non vac secured server then cheated. just pure ignorance/stupidity on his part."

You say this as if using the cheats on a non-vac secured server would have actually solved his problem, then you hit him with the "just pure stupidity". If there is no viable alternative, don't try to offer one. Instead, you Offered an alternative that's almost as stupid as the original decision, while also calling the dude an idiot.

Basically, its a "pot calling the kettle black" situation.
