This is why you should have the most badass exterior doors you can fund...ones you can do verbage through without cracking the seal. Make it so an NFL linebacker could bounce off of it with his bell rung and do Not open it for them!

I would be spun up into a whole new dimension of pissed-off at these guys. Anything those guys see on their little walk through can be used for probable cause. Anything. Since they are apparently searching for a fugitive, "plain sight" rules are right out the window as they are going to open all kinds of shit to "Just have a look around for your safety".

Think of what the response would be if these guys rolled up on some swank 5th Ave. NY block of multimillion dollar, really high end apartments, and said "Looking for a bad guy, just need a look around." Maybe try telling Snoop you want to just have a quick roll through on orgy night? Hmmmm. Same thing applies to a rural home in Kentucky, folks. If that cop is not in immediate pursuit or involved in an active apprehension? Get a warrant or try (really hard for a long time with more than four people and lots of tools) to open my doors yourself.

I wish no ill will to any LEO. We would for sure be a lesser civilization without your service. Just honor your oath and our Constitution and the citizens of which you are one. Respect.
