Few points from my pov:

I don’t like MSI seeding, it doesn’t seem to mean shit.

Play ins are boring if you’re a major region but it’s a logical move to increase viewership by including all regions.

When your dealing with all the best teams in the world, there’s gonna be some good teams not getting thru. We could have BO5s and all the expected stuff happening but that’s boring and would honestly probably hurt viewership like BO3s did in NALCS.

Things like semi finals byes could help quarter finals from being such a shit show of 3-0s.

Double elim would help non koreans (or people just having a bad performance on the day) make more moves but it’s way more money and time to make that stuff work, so that’s on Riot if they think it’d be worth.

I’m sure Riot is looking at fixes either way so this video and the comments below are useful regardless. They were open to moving back to BO1s and they’re taking their sweet time with EULCS announcements so clearly keeping an open mind. I wouldn’t call the system completely broken but nothing is perfect you can always make things better.
