Very first question I was asked after hitting 320: "So what else is there to do?"

I'm 2 light points away from 320 and I realized something a couple weeks ago. There is really no point to trying to get to 320. If it happens cool, if not, oh well. I can do everything I need to on my Hunter at 319 and I can do the same shit on my Warlock which is a few levels lower. Light level doesn't mean much after 315 or so.

The game got super stale for me after doing the challenges every single week. I got what I wanted and needed, which was cool, but then I had nothing left to do. I don't need every gun, or a "god roll" on everything I have.

I tried playing other characters, leaving a clan that got shitty and making my own group with some awesome people, blah blah blah.

Until there's some other shit to do in Destiny, like many others, I'm taking a break. We do the same shit, day in and out.

I've been having a lot more fun watching Breaking Bad which I've never seen.

The thing is this, once you have the 319/320 level, it's really up to you as the player to keep things interesting. I don't feel like I should have to create my own fun or excitement in a game and that's what I'm forced to do after playing all the content 50+ times.

Hopefully their little update today has some good news because I can see a lot of people getting restless and annoyed that we have nothing new to play and nothing even on the horizon. Even if they do say they're going to release something, it won't be a raid. It'll be some other little Live Team event to pacify people.

I'm at 319 and change and I don't even see a point in playing the game anymore with the lack of new things to do. Can only do something so many times before it loses it's magic.
