Okay, I had my final board interview yesterday. The overall process started last July and I have passed the written, physical ability, poly, psyche and background portions.

The interview went very well and after it was over the head of the board conducting the interview told me that they "definitely say yes" and that I "have positioned myself in the best possible way so far to be accepted". He told me he has only said that to one other person so far, and that the calls will go out mid-March.

Only unknown is that the executive director of safety, who makes the hires, literally got sworn in the day before my interview, so they don't know what she looks for in the final decision. But, he reiterated that in the panel's opinion, I should be accepted.

Feels good, even though I won't know officially for about a month.
