What was the biggest “wow, what small world” moment for you?

I was volunteering at an elderly home for Thanksgiving a couple of years ago. I came across an African woman with an accent that sounded familiar so I asked her where she was from. She said she was from Tanzania and I went "Oh! I went to highschool with someone from Tanzania!" so I went for a shot in the dark and asked her if she knew anyone with the name of my friend. Turns out the woman is my friends grandmother that were separated when they came to America many years ago (her mother passed away when she was young and her grandmother raised her). Can't remember the reason why they got disconnected though.

So after we were done serving and the volunteers could eat, I sat and ate with her and she showed me photos of them when they were in Tanzania and was constantly asking me questions of what school was like with her. She was completely happy and so grateful that I had shown up out of nowhere. At that point I had completely forgotten that I had her granddaughter on Facebook, so I messaged her and she was so shocked and surprised and told me that shes spent many years looking for her grandmother. She gave me her phone number, which I then gave her grandmother and the two were talking for a few minutes on the phone but I couldn't understand a word and they were in tears the whole time.

I will never forget when the grandmother said to me "This is proof that God exists! I pray every day for a sign to connect to my granddaughter and he responds back with you. Thank you for finding my granddaughter." She is so wholesome and sweet and occasionally I ask my friend how the two of them are doing.

Also, they got separated in a different state but were only less than 2 hours away from each other years later and couldn't find each other.
