What exactly is the benefit of Bumble compared to Tinder

As a girl, I find that the guys on Bumble are, as a whole, a lot better. It might be due to the algorithm, and I have actively spent more time on Tinder, but I've found that I'm actually interested in a higher percentage of Bumble users. What's good for the guys is that, because of the way Bumble works, if we match, it's because I'm genuinely interested in you.

As for the girls only writing "Hi" or whatever, I do try my best to write a compelling opening message -- in my experience, it leads to a conversation much more organically, and it's gotten me places. For example, I was using the app about two weeks before my 21st birthday, and this guy I'd matched with had written in his profile that he was into wine, so I asked him what I should order on my 21st. That got us talking, so we exchanged numbers, and then met up less than a week later. It was one of the best dates I've ever been on, and even though we're not dating or anything, we're still in touch. Most of the Tinder dates I've had were awkward, unpleasant, or just lacking in chemistry. I did get one relationship out of Tinder, but the less said about that, the better.
