Click on the "What do you guys think" above. I wrote/posted a response on the webpage and am including it here as well. Of course this my own opinion and you may or may not agree with it....and that's okay.

It is apparent to me that you are most likely gay yourself, albeit a self-loathing, closeted gay, as recent research would suggest.

Unfortunately it is people like you who spread the hate within your religious circles and in society. Many people don't believe in your god and if they do believe in A god, it is a loving and benevolent one. People like you pick and choose what you want to believe. It is your interpretation of your holy book (whatever that may be) and your interpretation of your religion that is deeply flawed. I could go on saying that homosexuality is certainly nature, not nurture, but you are the kind of person who is already poisoned and there may be no redeeming you.

Chances are high that someone you know: a friend or member of their family, or even someone in your own family or social circle is gay or questioning, but remain in fear and turmoil because of your attitudes. In my life experience and travels, when many people like you (certainly not all) find out that someone they love or are close to is gay, their attitude changes for the better over time.

Gays have always been around and only recently have been able to make it known. The percentage of gay people in society hasn't changed, the fact that they are more visible is what has changed. Times are changing and fortunately disturbing attitudes and hatred like yours are in the minority.

Welcome to the 21st century. You will be dragged into it kicking and screaming, but you WILL be dragged into it.
