What piercings do you have and what were your experiences getting them?

3 in each lobe, 2 helix on right, industrial on left, and right nostril.

I had the first 2 sets of lobe and both helix piercings done with guns. I was in elementary/middle school so I don't really remember getting them done, but they did get infected a lot for the first few years. The 3rd set of lobe piercings were done professionally. There was no basically no pain during the piercing, but one side took so long to heal, upwards of a year before I was really comfortable with it.

The industrial wasn't really super painful for me, but oh my god there was so much blood. I didn't go to the most reputable piercer so I think she went through a vein. It's been a few years, so it's nicely healed now.

My nostril was the easiest piercing. I barely felt it going through. It hurt a bit for about 3 days whenever I hit it or sneezed, but after that it was totally fine. It did hurt the first few times I tried to change it, but I think that was because I was going off of youtube videos.

I also had my belly button pierced when I was 16. I kept it for 4 years (I took it out last year). It was horrible for the first 2 years. I caught it on everything, my dogs kept catching it when they sat on me, and it was infected probably 80% of the time. By the time I took it out, it had healed, but I didn't like it anymore. A year later, the hole is mostly closed, but it's still there and visible.
